MISSOURI LEARNING STANDARDS
You've likely heard the term "Common Core State Standards" (CCSS.) Missouri's Board of Education along with 44 other states, have either adopted or integrated these standards into their own. As discussed by our Ray-Pec Board of Education on October 25, 2012, the Common Core State Standards Initiative is an educator & state-led effort to establish a clear set of educational standards for English language arts and math that prepare kids for their future. States may voluntarily adopt the standards, which are designed to ensure that all students graduating from high school are highly prepared for college or the workforce.
